Today I took off to ride Paris Mountain, but the wind was just howling. Once I had climbed Beverly I knew that climbing the mountain in that wind was going to be a little much, so I headed around the base of the mountain. That is a good route with a lot of up and down riding and a very steep climb on Dreamland Way. I crossed Poinsett at New Roe Ford Road and took it to the SRT. I followed the trail to TR and found Jenn at the Creamery. I stopped in for a hug, a cone, and some catching up. When I came out of the creamery my bike was down and the left brake handle was twisted in. I followed the trail down to Hudson and stopped at TTR where they straightened out the handle. When I headed down to Park Avenue Don and E.Claire were sitting on their stoop reading. I stopped in and chatted with them for a while. Even though the wind was brutal it was a good ride.
