The new 303 NSW carbon wheels I ordered finally arrived. Had hoped to test ride them yesterday, but they were not delivered until late in the day and that option was lost. I have a computrainer session later in the day so didn't want to get too aggressive on a morning ride. Weather wasn't too bad but still opted for winter riding clothing. Purposely ignored the computer so as not to get carried away with the numbers game. First couple of miles was spent adjusting the brakes as these new rims are wider than my Shimanos. Really didn't push the wheels on the climb but they did have a little flex, but I probably wouldn't have noticed it if the pads weren't already so tight. Didn't do any steep stuff either as only took a short ride to Rockstream. Did develop some speed on Mudlake Road descending into Watkins and the wheels were quite solid. Got a few easy miles in without any serious effort. Riding was actually quite pleasant though a little chilly in the descent. Hopefully I'll have some decent weather tomorrow and some decent legs and try to test the wheels a little more aggressively.
