 Damp Ride
Weather was fairly warm for March, but is was very damp with no sun in evidence. Took a short ride up Fitzpatrick. Stood up on the bottom section of the climb and new wheels accelerated quite well. Much better than I did as I went quickly into the red and pace dropped quickly to survival mode. Spent the rest of the climb playing with computer which seems to have switched the data fields on the display screen. Overall climb turned out poorly. Speed picked back up through the rollers to Horseheads and had a strong ride through them. Seemed to be much faster than usual, but I normally ride this route during much higher winds. Wind was strong enough to push me home at a good clip. Put in enough work to get the average up to seventeen by the time I rolled into town and put in a good sprint to the Millport line. Felt good on the fast section but the climb was not much fun.
