 Bitter Wind
Hedged on whether to ride outside or inside today. It looked sunny out and it is spring, but my brief jaunts outside to check the weather left me chilled throughout the day. Finally gave in and took a late day ride as it wasn't really very nice but it did look like the best outside riding day in the ten day outlook. North wind was bitter and ended up just riding a couple of loops around town with some minor climbs thrown in. Really was checking out my repairs on my transmission which worked fine. My clothes kept me warm, but toward the end of my hour ride I could feel the cold piling up on the outside of my gear whenever I rode through a shady section. Not a very nice ride overall although I did hear a good deal of birdsong. Maybe spring will come next April.
