Ride Description: W/Sue... This was supposed to be a Blackhawk group ride but we were dropped after 4 miles. Then we got "lost" when the cue sheet was wrong. So we rode with the Morgans on a tandem, and with Melonie until a bad knee and the high winds turned them around at the 10 mile mark.
We continued and rode a route we were familiar with.
Sue was pissed, this was just the second Club ride of the season and the main group was averaging 18+ mph. into the wind out of town, and dropped us like a bad habit.
There's really no sense in going on a group ride if we are going to get dropped that fast.
If we're going to ride together, we'll do it from home.
We wanted to ride yesterday after working on new trails at Kettle, but we were too tired.
