With the temp 15 degrees cooler this morning than yesterday morning's 70 degrees, and the threat of rain in the area, I added the rainpants and arm warmers to the wardrobe this morning (with the rain jacket stashed in my clothes bag just in case). Only encountered a couple drips (literally) on the way in this morning. Very pleasant.
No rain to deal with on the ride home tonight. In fact the clouds were clearing out and the sun was shining brightly.
Had a couple drivers that didn't appriciate me riding in the traffic lane tonight. The first said something about 'ride on the shoulder' (I think that's what I heard) as he safely passed me in the left lane - which I replied "THERE ISN'T ONE!" Then he waved - I was thinking he ...was going to 'flip the bird' at me, but maybe he realized the road condition changed...I also encouraged him to "Learn to drive!" The second driver came up behind me in the left lane of Lindbergh, the same 4 lane section where the motorist honked at me last Tues, and said something about me being in traffic. If really have something to say to me, say it so I can hear it all, but I guess that would require you to cut your speed by about 1/2 so your going about my speed.
