Wind finally stopped blowing sometime early this morning and shifted to the NW. Had a really great day on the bike. Sunny and 80 degrees doesn't get much better for me. Ran the course at over 19 mph without any great effort. Would have been faster but four miles of the course is in town and traffic lights, trains and cars break up the flow. Even got honked at by a pick up truck who passed me slowly and gave a friendly wave. Snow expected at home today, so I'm pretty much living the dream here in Texas. Only unfortunately I don't have as much time to ride as I like.
