 Daily Grind Part VII
Finished a week of the grind with another beautiful day. Wind is starting to shift again and will soon return to the south. Something kicked the trees into overdrive yesterday as overnight the leaves opened up on the trees. Perhaps they were waiting for the wind to die down. While not full enough to provide any shade, it was exilerating to ride next to next a row of trees with leaves. Didn't push as hard as yesterday, but legs were loose enough I could get a good spin going and hold it most of the way up the climbs. Staring to get more comfortable riding the drops, which should help my speeds to increase. Have been resisting the free donuts for a week now. Hopefully I can resist for another two weeks and get through the grind.
