I rode the Surly from home to Chestnut Coffee to meet Kimberly. She was having a latte when I got there. We rode up the trail and I pulled her to Leopard Forest. Things were fine in TR when we got there, but smoke from the Table Rock fire moved in and really greyed it out. We rode back down the trail. We got off at Lakeview Middle and came in on Old Buncombe. We stopped at Velo Valet and talked to Carlo. I hadn't seen him since before the pandemic. We followed the new street from the Orange line to American Mills. We took the Orange Line to Hampton Station and brought Washington back to town.
