Had planned on taking the day off but torrential rains and thunderstorms seem to dominate this week's weather forecast so I headed out for a short spin figuring a better oppoortunity for a rest day will be here soon enough. Temperature was in the seventies but the south wind was blowing hard. Rode easy for most of the ride but got detoured by road construction and trapped in a housing development for awhile. Eventual got out of there but actual smelling the barbeques in the housing was probably the highlight of the ride. Legs are still heavy after this past weekend's hard riding.
