I headed out late this morning to try climb over Paris Mountain. It's been a long time since I rode the mountain and I am considerably heavier than I was then. I went up the Greenville side and the wall was a real struggle. I stopped at the top of the wall for a drink then did the rest of the climb with no trouble. I also stopped about 3/4ths the way down the mountain as a fellow cyclist was on the side of the road with a flat. His wife was nearly there so I went on. I got on the trail at New Roe Ford Road amd went north the TR. I turned back south above the ice cream shop and headed on down to Furman. There I swung by the baseball field and checked out the pregame there. Then it was back home. I saw Don just before I got to Poinsett Highway. Even though the climb like to killed me it was a good ride.
