I was planning to ride the mountain again today but go up the Greenville side and down the Travelers Rest side. Erica really wanted to ride the mountain but since she didn't know how to get around the mountain or how to get back from the other side, I decided to ride to Furman, meet her there, ride over the mountain, follow my convoluted path back to Furman, then let her drive me home. It took me 20:48 to do the climb, which is 13 seconds slower than the last time. While I was waiting for Erica to finish the climb I checked my brakes and found that the right side of the front was dragging on the wheel all the way up. Maybe I could have bettered my time! But I'll try it again in a couple of weeks. The climb was too much for Erica. She did make it to the top, but had to walk part of the way. It took her over 44 minutes to get there.
