The weather report (about 30 min) before I left the house said 37 deg and calm winds - a few degrees cooler than yesterday morning - so I threw on a base layer under my double-layer of longsleeve jerseys. I felt noticably more comfortable than yesterday' ride. I thought it was the added layer, but it could have been the fact that the sun was out versus the overcast skies & damp air, and/or the fact of the sun being out the temp actually warmed up, as noted in the weather conditions of this ride.
As arrived at work and dismounted the bike in the usual location - just outside the employee entrance - a coworker was walking in, greeted me with a friendly hello and commented how nice of a day it was for me to ride. I was thinking in the back of my mind that it was reportedly a few degrees colder than yesterday, but it was a better day, as I commented "The sun being out sure makes the day feel warmer and makes for a more enjoyable ride."
