Took a few days off the bike except for Wednesday's Computrainer group session. My body didn't seem to adjust to well to being home as even though the last couple of days has been terrific cycling weather for Upstate this time of year. My sinuses persuaded me to take some time off. Thought I would have fresh legs for today's climbing but had dead legs instead. Crested the first climb up Steuben at 11.6 mph and pretty much stayed there until Reading Center. The north wind was giving me more trouble then I had expected. Rolled into Dundee five or six minutes passed a passable time. Thought things might pick up coming back down SR 14 with a tailwind but that didn't seem to develop either. The legs felt quite heavy and couldn't get them spinning. Bike is really creaking badly too and have put off maintenance too long. I think the bike is going to be easier to fix than my climbing.
