After viewing this I thought about how I lock my recumbent when I go someplace and need to leave it.
Hal would give me a D Minus to an F. My seat could be stolen. My rear and front wheels could be stolen. The cable lock I have can be cut within 10 seconds to 15 seconds.
While I don't live in NYCity.....what Hal teaches here in his original clip from 5 years ago is till valid. There is a recent film but I can't remember where I've seen it.
