It has been a rough couple of weeks as instead of out riding in the eighty degree weather I've been bedridden with some kind of very unpleasant head cold\flu virus. Suffered from a never ending sore throat, fever dreams, cold shakes and a week long headache. Tried some light riding on the trainer occasionally but that didn't ever go very well. Finally got a decent session on the trainer in yesterday and decided to try riding outside today. Weather seemed on the unpleasant side today after last week's warm spell and decided on just doing some slow laps around town in the strong wind. Got bored real quick with the plan so headed off to try some climbing to Reading Center. Stiff tailwind pushed me up the shallow part of the climb to 14A and climbed slow but steady on the steeper part at the end. Ride seemed to go okay but opted to keep it short as not to stress my weakened body.
