Got back out on the road bike again although it wasn't ideal road bike weather. Wanted to get some miles in but it took forever to get the temperature up to not unpleasant. Then I was limited by time as showers were forecast for later in the day and really am tired of getting wet. Originally planned on riding east of the lake for a fifty miler but due to a bitter north wind decided to opt for the west side and a short trip of thirty to Dundee. Climbed okay but once I got near the top of the rise in Reading Center the wind was brutal and had to be much higher than the nine miles an hour that the weatherman said it was going to be. So just hunkered down and spun it out. Ride back was much better as had a good tailwind. Kept a good pace but pretty much was uninspired riding. Did see a few others out today and even a group of six or eight in Montour that were using the rail to trail. Not a bad ride and I didn't get wet and was home a half hour before the showers returned.
