 To the River House
Today four of us left Don and Elyssa's home. We rode at a fairly brisk pace stopping often at convenience stores for drinks and snacks and we stopped at McDonalds in Belton. We also stopped at the Savannah River (the state line) for quite a while.that was right at 60 miles. Elyssa met us about 6 or 7 miles into Georgia with snacks and drinks. Once into Georgia I was really struggling to climb. We passed Hartwell Speedway while out in the middle of nowhere. Elyssa met us again in Royston at McDonalds. Kimberly was worried about Errol being at the riverhouse with nobody there so she took off to get there quickly. I was absolutely exhausted when we got in.
