Best day of the week with temperatures a fantastic seventy five and the wind finally below ten miles an hour. Had hoped to do a longer ride today but yard work got the best of me and started to run short of daylight. Opted for the Johnson Hollow ride that has always been the traditional Monday recovery loop. Had a poor time to Millport. I really didn't have much leg to push hard but kept the cadence up and tried unsuccessfully to develop some speed. Had a poor climb out of Millport but really enjoyed it as I noticed then focused on the numerous yellow flowers blossoming in the ditch that runs up the climb. Focused on the developing flora for a good part of the ride without worrying too much about speed. I did do a little speed work around Moreland and got some good speed on the downhill but it was too little too late to be considered a strong ride. Good touring day though with ideal weather that made for a successful but short ride.
