The North wind started blowing again and moved all the seventy degree air out of the area. Most of the day was fairly cool, but the sun came out late in the day and quickly moved the temperature into the upper fifties. Legs are still a little tender and had no desire to take a long ride in the blustery north wind so took a twenty mile jaunt through Johnson Hollow. Half the course turned out to be flattish tailwind with the climbing and descending into the wind. Started out fairly strong with the tailwind, but my battery is still a little low and speed gradually petered out before the climb. Climb was uninspired and hit a stiff wind up the hollow. Wind was really ripping when I passed out of the valley, but on such a short ride I only had to struggle for two miles before coasting down a very cold descent to Watkins. Not a bad ride. The warm sun cancelled out the cold wind for a descent day on the bike.
