Legs were beat today after yesterday's climbing metric and it never seemed to warm up, so I abandoned a longer ride and opted for the default ride up Johnson Hollow. Took it easy on the way up and was pushed along by a good tailwind and never developed much speed. Thought I would up the effort on the mild climb but didn't get much cooperation from my body and ended up spinning at an easy pace for rest of ride. Hands got numb on the descent into Watkins and I wished I had worn gloves despite the fifty five degree temperature. Was happy to get off the bike and out of the cold and was very glad I only went twenty miles.
