Another fantastic riding day as the air was coolish yet the sun was warm on the skin. Took a short brisk ride down by the airport and continued down by the river on Silver Run Rd. Pushed a mild headwind out but since most of the route is in the woods the wind really isn't much of a concern as it was in Texas. Route has a series of short climbs near the halfway point past Jenifer that got my heartrate up and finished the day with a semi-fast run with the following wind on the airport road. Length of route is good for a one hour ride which is about all I am good for for the next week or so and this will probably become my default ride. There is a three mountain - three state century in Chattanooga next weekend that I have a very slight chance of making on Saturday and a Metric century north of Atlanta that I have a realistic chance of making on Sunday. After that though I'll probably head back to NY for a while and see if the weather has broken yet.
