Today is the first ride since the ride home from the riverhouse. One thing I learned on that ride is that I can't keep up while climbing, so I am planning to climb more. I headed out today and discovered that I was riding into the wind again. I rode out the trail then crossed Poinsett to Altamont and headed up the TR side of the mountain. I slogged my way up, but it wasn't near the struggle that it was a couple of weeks ago with Don. I came off Paris Mountain onto Piney Mountain. Then cut across League Middle and had to go back down East North to get a quarter. I am going to try to ride Paris Mountain once or twice a week to work on my climbing.
