Storms came through last night and dropped the temperature forty degrees as well in bringing in some serious rain. Checked the forecast and had the choice of riding in light rain or waiting a little and riding in heavy rain, Opted for the light rain. Thought about doing some local climbs on the road bike but decided against it as thought the downhills would be most unpleasant. Got back on the mountain bike and headed down to the bird trail and Bad Indian Swamp again. Really wasn't too bad as kept the ride brief and didn't give the cold any time to penetrate my clothing. Thought I had missed the geese today as only saw a nesting pair in their usually spot but came upon the main flock a mile or so north . They were on walkabout and having a grand time in the rain. I returned on Rock Cabin without incident. Got a few miles in without any undo suffering.
