Legs were still sore from yesterday's group ride and so I planned on practicing my glass pedaling on the fifty mile out and back to Amity. Really wasn't much wind on the way out and the first fifteen miles was quite pleasant. I couldn't nurse the legs very well once I hit the ten mile climbing section. Fortunately there was only highway climbs, and they weren't terribly long nor steep with nothing over six percent. Made the turn around in Amity and actually had to do some work mild pain to get back through the climbing section. Picked up a tailwind over the last fifteen miles and was able to go back to glass pedaling again. Turned out to be a mostly slow pleasant ride that hopefully burned some calories and helped my legs recover.
