Legs were feeling the effects of yesterday's ride, and riding into the STIFF wind most of the way to work didn't help.

Having built a camera mount over the weekend, I did snap a few pictures along the way. That helped to occupy my attention during the commute. Will have to wait until this evening to see what I got.

Pictures included in this montage:
1. Just left the drive way, heading west on Buddie Dr
2. Continuing west on Latty, will turn left at the bottom of the hill.

3. Train crossing, at grade - once in a while I have to wait for a train; just missed a short one today.

4. A short jog on Airport Rd, turning left here to avoid the light over the hill.

5. Working around the east end of Lambert International - this secion of road was just opened this past fall.

6. Finishing up the new section, along I-70.

7. The intersection of Brown Rd & Natural Bridge Rd

8. This section of road is mostly 4-lanes until reaching St Charles Rock Rd, and maybe 6-10 cars pass me on any given day.

9. Half way up a short hill that seems to be the steeps stretch on the route - maybe partly because of the stop sign.

10. Approaching Midland Blvd, where traffic can line up a dozen and one-half cars (and a bus) with the shoulder dissappearing as you approach the intersection.

11. Crossing Page Ave

12. Crossing (under) I-170 for the second of three times on the route.

13. Waiting to turn onto Olive Blvd - there are a couple FedEx trucks behind me, too.

14. The third (and final) crossing of I-170.

15. Could continue another 1/4 mile on Olive to Price Rd, but think it wise to turn off here and take a couple quiet residential streets to Price.

16. On Price Rd. - from this point on to where it ends in our parking lot, this is a 'private' road (not maintained by the local municipality). The building on the right used to be a second office/warehouse building for our company.

17. Rolling into Staples Promotional Products' St Louis office - until July '10.

18. The 'employee entrance' - I can park my bike in the hallway just inside this door.
