Had a beautiful day for riding today and the first real spring day I've had since returning to the north. It was a little cool but without any wind the near sixty temperature seemed really nice. Avoided any climbs today and just went out to burn some calories and enjoy the day. Didn't have any cycling experiences today and was surprised I didn't see any one else out on the bike. Usually I see a couple of riders on River Road outside of Corning but no one today. I did see quite a few runners and quite a few people out on motorcycles enjoying the day. I also heard peepers for the first time this year. I saw a glider coming off Harris Hill that gave me a little boost which did counter a little of the disappointment I had going by the drive in. Even though it is a bit early for drive ins I was hoping to see some signs that the site was getting ready for the season, but it just looked abandoned. Caught a tailwind on the last third of the ride and cruised back from Corning. Not a very eventful day but overall had a good day on the bike.
