Went out early this morning as it was quite warm and wanted to get out before the winds rose into the upper teens. Legs felt pretty wasted and heart rate refused to rise above one thirty despite my late in the ride efforts. Started out in ninety-five percent humidity with overcast skies. Nursed myself slowly up New Odessa Hill with no plans on doing any real work. There were hundreds of worms out on the pavement today, and I am sure I killed dozens of them despite my evasive weaving. No early birds were anywhere in sight. Tried to pick up the pace on the Sullivinville climb as I was concerned that I had taken too long and my light headwind window was closing. Had no luck at all on the climb as could not generate any watts and was only able to produce a weak spin. Suffered a little to Horseheads, but it wasn't too bad on the run back to Montour despite the sixteen mile an hour crosswind. So my heart wasn't in today's ride, and I was glad when it was over, Hopefully some recovery has occurred.
