 Working Around Tubbs
I headed up the trail today to get in a quick quarter before watching Furman play East Tennessee State. I rode up the trail and stopped at Duke's Doggs for a turkey dog with turkey chili with mustard and onions. I had it with fries and lemonade. The trail was being closed for a 5 K run so I headed north as far as the cemetary then cut over to Lindsey Lake Road and took Bowers to cut around Tubbs Mountain. I caught White Horse Road Extension about 1/2 mile from Tubbs Mountain then turned onto it and climbed Tubbs. I followed it to town then cut over to Old Buncombe to get back to Furman without using the trial. In TR I ran into Karen along the way. She was driving along from her trailer park. Once at Furman I watched the Paladins beat the ETSU Bucs 8-4.
