Weather really turned around since Sunday with temperatures going into in the mid eighties rather than the low forties. It also got warm early enough that I could get out before the wind kicked up. Actually I didn't really have any significant headwinds all day, it was mostly crosswinds and a good tailwind on the way back. Legs felt good and responded when I tried to push the pace-at least for the first hour. Had a fairly good climb to Reading Center and rode hard to Dundee and ended up about a minute off what would have been a good time. Spun the next climb out of Dundee on 14A and didn't do much on the downhill. Legs and body felt okay but couldn't really push the big gears as in days of old. Rest of the rolling highway climbs were more of the same. Kept a good pace and really enjoyed the day. Only saw one other rider today, an Amish guy on a commuter type bike. Construction in Watkins is still, and I imagine will continue to be, a pain but everything else was pretty nice today.
