 Logan
Had planned and early morning ride but legs were still sore so I laid in the sun for a couple of hours and soaked up some vitamin D. Felt rested in the afternoon and took a short ride to Logan. Ride starts off with a steep climb up skyline gaining 500 feet in less than a mile. Had trouble with it as usual but legs responded well after cresting and felt strong for the rest of the ride. After skyline the ride continues to climb all the way to Logan but grades are moderate. Kept a good pace up to Logan and a great pace after the turn. Pushed the big gear on the twelve mile descent and enjoyed the high twenties pace and spectacular lake views of 414 south. Only drawback of today's ride was the heavy bug infestation around Logan. Ended up peppered with little gnat type bugs.
