 Back to Climbing
Went back to the Ridge Road course I rode last week with the bad crank. The killer winds of the last couple of days has moved on for a bit and weather was cool but pleasant. Had a good climb up Jackson Hill cresting with a 12.3 average which was a good deal better than my best for the year although the time was aided by the light tailwind. Wasn't able to keep average climbing on the continuing upgrade to Seymoreville and lost a little just barely getting over with a twelve. Thought I might be able to pull an eighteen out of the day and hammered the downhill hard enough to get it though I lost it running errands around town during the warm down. Had visions of pulling a nineteen but still haven't got the speed I need. Was happy that the climbing seems to be heading in the right direction again.
