| Weather Conditions: 15 minute Rain 1 hour before the race. Mostly Cloudy. 66° At start. Cold front came in about 12 mile mark, temp. dropped to 43° and a 15 mph North wind picked up. |
Ride Description: RACE... This was an "old school" mountain bike course. Fire roads, double track, & .5 miles on Ojibwe singletrack. Just like the riding I used to do in the early '90's. There were some gnarly, rocky, sandy down & up hill sections. A long race, Sue and I just rode our own pace. We decided to cross the finish line together.
