 Rock Stream
Forecast predicted another day of rain. It turns out the weather is often unpredictable as it turned out to be a lovely sunny day with a warm south wind. Started up with a leisurely ride to Rock Stream via Gabriel's Junction and surprised myself with a decent first climb. I wasn't able to hold the speed up the short steep section to Reading Center but felt good none-the-less. Caught a tailwind down the long grade and had a good two mile run in the low thirties. Fun ended when I got back on SR 14 and turned into the wind. Tried to push the pace but after a couple of miles the legs got weak and ended up returning to my leisurely pace. Turned out to be a good short ride and extended it a bit with a couple of short climbing loops around Montour Falls to finish off the day.
