I took the road bike to Donaldson to get my mileage up to 40 for the week. I was going to run around Perimeter Road 3 times which would have put me around 21 1/2 miles. I knew that Perimeter was pretty rough but this was my first time out there on the road bike and it is really rough! And like nearly every time that I go out there, the wind was pretty stiff. I made one full lap then turned around to run it the opposite direction. Once I was on the 2nd lap I decided to turn into Donaldson and explore some of the many inside roads that wander through the center from business to business. There are many things on the old base that I didn't know were there. It was an interesting ride. I am still adjusting to riding the road bike. it is so foreign to me that I'm afraid that it'll take some time.
