Today the Spinners hosted a special ride for Bike month that went from the Zoo to Gateway Park in TR then on to Slater Drug in Marietta and back to the Zoo. I rode from the house, then 14 of us rode from the zoo, and we picked up a dozen more at Gateway Park. The ride back became badly fractured and I finished alone, so I cut across town like I do when I ride alone. Cis called when I was less than a mile from TR and we met at the Creamery for ice cream. I had a butter pecan shake at Slater Drug, a salted caramel/chocolate twist at the Creamery, then a strawberry smoothie after Cis arrived.
