Andre and I met at Linky Stone to ride up and down the trail. While getting ready Andre came over with a couple of riders that turned out to be Jeff and Debbie Reno. They took off and we did as well. When we got to Furman I saw them stopped by the railroad car. We pulled off and talked for quite a while. Then we headed on north. When we got to TR we went on to the north end of the trail. Then we rode up 276 to a convenience store and turned down Rock Quarry Road. We had a large pit bull come out and I outran it, but Andre was behind me and he got trapped by the dog. After he finally got away from the dog we went a ways and it was a dead end, so we had to go back. But when we got to the dog they had out it up. We went a ways farther and looked at where they are working on the trail, then we headed back to 276 and back down the trail.
