Ken emailed Don and me both to ensure that one of us would be thereto lead the ice cream ride today. We both responded that we would. I rode to the zoo and Don showed after 5 minutes. We waited until after 2 but nobody else showed up. Don said that he was tired of doing the trail so we headed for Lake Conestee. Then we took Mauldin Road to the K of C as Elissa was supposed to be at a BBQ there. But she wasn't there yet, so we got on Fairforest and did a lot of y FF/ IC route. When we stopped at the north end of the runway we saw a trainer plane make one of the worst landings that I have ever seen. I'm just glad that I wasn't in that plane. It was doing touch and go's and I'll bet the student and instructor were both nervous!
