Put in a bad night and felt horrible for most of the night. Got some sleep late and felt better but weak when I got up. Planned on riding up the lake and over ridge to Dundee and climbing back aided by a tailwind. Plan changed as it was quite chilly on the way to Watkins. Thought I should do the climb on the way out and generate some heat and maybe the sun would come out and I would have a warm tailwind back down the lake. Climbed okay but still have no strength with my spin and went back to touring speed into the wind. Temperature continued to drop as the sun never showed up and the north wind was pumping in some Arctic air. A good time wasn't had by anyone. Spun back to the descent and went back to coast mode. Hands were so numb by the bottom of the climb that I wasn't sure I could grip the brakes. Sun came out after I got through Watkins and temperature climbed rapidly into the mid sixties. Got a couple of warm miles in. Sad ride feel like crap.
