I went for a ride on the SRT today. It's seldom that I ride on Sunday, but due to uncontrollable circumstances dealing with my wife's sister we couldn't get out for church. My wife wanted me away from the house so as to not expose her sister and brother-in-law to my temper, so I took off on my bike. The ride itself was pretty enjoyable. I had a pair of close calls with non-attentive cyclists, but other than that it was a good ride. Alley Cat's was open so I stopped for a drink of Gator-Ade. Alley was there with her grandparents and little brother. I sat down with her grandfather and we talked for quite a while. Another older gentleman also joined in with us and we solved many of the world's problems. A couple over heard us talking about the USA Cycling Time Trials and wanted to know details about it. So we had a nice long talk as well. After sitting so long at Alley Cats I was tight when I took off for home.
