Decent day with little sun nor wind. Headed up Catlin Hill to work on my climbing. Went out fairly hard up the cemetery hill and did well out of the saddle to the falls overlook and had to back off. Lost the momentum over the top and lingered a little too long and ended up a little below an average time but didn't feel too bad as it is still early in the season. Crossed the rolling flats to the crossroads also a little slower than I thought was decent but actually had a good result as I crested the mild climb into Moreland. The big test came as I hit Catlin Hill. Again did well out of the saddle on the first section and again soon ran out of leg in the middle of the climb. Struggled ever upward dripping sweat, nose drippings and trying to keep my lunch down. Suffering eased a bit as the grade lessened and recovered with a decent spin. Didn't do much on the decent but kept good speed and hammered good sections of the final ten miles of downgrade. Suffered on the climb but still turned out to be a good ride.
