 Easy Climb
Trying to rest the legs a bit for Sunday's festivity and still keep burning the calories. Did one fairly good climb up the southern route to Sullivinville. It a bit overcast and cool as I rode up the slot into a steady south wind to Horseheads. Didn't feel very energetic as legs are still a little worn down and average speed showed it. After turning out of the wind in Horseheads and with all the clouds burned off, the ride and my energy level drastically improved. Did some out of the saddle accelerations on the few steeper sections of the gradual climb. The average improved during the climbing section and once hitting the crest it was two fast descents to home. Tried to get the average up to sixteen but failed. Still felt I did pretty good after dogging the first fifteen miles.
