I rode to the Sswamp Rabbit Cafe to meet the Swamp ROMP group for a ride to TR and some lunch. The group kept changing throughout the ride. Six of us left the Cafe - Joe, Joe, Karen, Alice, Seneca, and me. I rode at the back and talked with Joe going up. We rode along at a conversational pace on up to Furman. We left there after picking up Daryl. Daryl and I chatted on up to TR where we decided to try Shortfield's. Once we were there I noticed that Kathy had joined the group. I had a batter fried fish sandwich with sweet potato chips and a side salad with sweet tea. we discussed a hundred and one subjects while enjoying the food. On the way back down the trail we picked up Lynn a little north of Furman. I got with Karen and we continued our year long plus discussion of famiies and work problems. We dropped Daryl off at Furman while the rest of us rode back to the Cafe. I talked with Joe and Joe for a while there, then headed baack to home. A pretty fun ride.
