 Wind Returns
Temperature is still ideal for riding but the wind has returned. Started out on another steep ascent up Havana Glen with normal poor results, although it wasn't as painful as it can sometimes be. Caught a crosswind through Van Etten, but it really wasn't too bad. Had a long twisting two mile climb up Swartout Hill that I pretty much spun the whole way. Wind started to push back on the downhill and the descent was only marginally faster than the ascent. Downgrade to Horseheads was also stifled by the wind but weather otherwise was so nice that it didn't dampen the ride. Tailwind really kicked in at Pine Valley and spent a good deal of time motoring along in the low thirties. Overall a pleasant non-eventful spin in May.
