Up the Mountain Into the Wind
After several days of rain the sun finally showed itself and I figured that I'd better take advantage of it as rain is forecast for much of the next week. I took off and went up the Greenville side of Paris Mountain. I was surprised to find that I was also fighting the wind going to and much of the steep climb. But I made it up and then the hair raising descent down the other side. I went on up the frontage road to TR and crossed 25 at Wal-Mart. I went to the Gazebo and straightened my cap then headed down the trail. The wind really pushed me down the trail so Ihuatled on down. I stopped at the SRT Cafe and got a cheddar/ spinach scone for me and a blueberry scone for Cis.
