I was off work today to get my eyes examined but by later in the afternoon my eyes were nearly back to normal so I headed out East North and onto the SRT to Sunrift Outfitters and back. It was a good ride overall. I nearly saw a rider get run down crossing Sulphur Springs Road. I was approaching the crossing when another bike passed me. Instead of slowing he turned abruptly to the left to ride parallel to the road until he came to an opening in traffic then shot across. But he hadn't looked behind him and he pulled out in front of a car. He forced the driver to slow down, lay on his horn, and swear out the window at him. It is riders like him that make us all look bad.
