 Old Buncombe and SRT
Today I rode the Surly from home and cut across town and Poe Mill to Old Buncombe Road. I followed OBR to Travelers Rest and went north out of town. I took Williams Road from the trail to Tubbs Mountain Road and I got caught on a killer hill in too high a gear and couldn’t get down. I had a car right behind me, so I pulled into a driveway to avoid the car and keep from falling over. I downshifted in the driveway and made my way on up that hill. I road back into Travelers Rest and got on the trail back to Greenville. I cut across town as the trail is closed in the city. I worked my way around Cleveland Park since it is closed, and climbed the big hill home.
