 Swartout Climb
Was a little bummed out as another race I was going to participate in was cancelled. Didn't hear why the circuit race in Boston, NY was cancelled but that makes at least four races that I had planned on going to that aren't going to happen. Legs were heavy and didn't really feel like doing much work so just toured today. First part of the ride was certainly different from the last time I rode toward Van Etten with my speed only a little over half what is was last time. Spun up the twisting climb of Swartout Hill which is always a treat. Did a little work near the top where it gets a little steep but other than that didn't get the heart rate up very high today. Was surprised I didn't see anyone out riding on such a nice day. Wind was reasonable for a change and temperature was ideal at eighty.
