I was torn about where to ride tonight but I finally decided to take the comfort bike to Cleveland Park and ride the Swamp Rabbit Trail. They are doing a lot of work on the trail in the park so it is somewhat torn up. But I got going up the trail and seemed to be wilting in the heat and humidity. part of the trail is closed around Brammet street, but it was so poorly marked that I couldn't figure out what was closed. I got off and wandered around some then got on close to Cedar Lane Road. I followed the trail up to Sunrift Outfitters. I stopped at a bench up there and drank my bottle. Then it was back down the trail. On campus I ran into a recent bike wreck. A couple had wrecked their bikes, she had lost a lens from her glasses, and both bikes were damaged. Another couple was there with them and helping as much as they could. We never did find her lens but they were close to their vehicle and were headed for home when I left. After that it back down the trail and finish the ride.
Also on the way north a little rabbit ran out of the swamp and ran ahead of me on the trail - hence the Swamp Rabbit Trail.
