Took yesterday off for some much-needed recovery. Resting heart rate has come down a bit but isn't yet in a nice zone. Tried to take a short recovery ride today and although kept the bike in the small chain ring still ended up with a high heart rate for the low watts produced. It wasn't the best riding day as it was rather cool, and the north wind was back. Had a pleasant ride up through Johnson Hollow but it didn't end up qualifying for a recovery ride.
